Freeburg was born and raised
in Northeastern Colorado.
He’s been a life-long
Coloradoan and says he
“wouldn’t live anywhere
else”. John and his wife
Marcy arrived in the Valley
in 2005 and were amazed by
the history of the here. “I
had to look at many sources
before I got the full picture
of what all went on here.
Some of it is violent and
some funny, but every story
is rich with life!”
John began the Greenhorn
Valley Project with Jerry
Crispin in November 2008.
Together, they hope to have
provided the community with a
gift that will last through
many fireside chats and many
cool autumn adventures.
